Surely we all work in the field of Christian communication for sheer personal glory accompanied by a marvelous pay-cheque//pay-check and substantial job security. If your not in this crowd, read on.
Why do we do what we do? A lot of it is aptitude – good writers, quick thinkers, and astute observers are the making of good professional communicators. A lot of it is grace, too – recall Psalm 33:6, “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made.” One wouldn’t make it very far in to Christian scripture before becoming exhausting in counting the number of times God said something.
This must remind us that if stories don’t get told, they don’t get heard. If problems are not articulated, they cannot be solved.
We’re a lucky lot. Amen.
