Texas Hold’em

While the rest of us are cobbling together shards of SEO wisdom and tracking keywords like a bloodhound on a fox, the biggest of the contiguous states is taking on a Silicon Valley behemoth.

Texas v. Google

Yup, Lone Star wants the low-down on some of Google’s well guarded algorithms to investigate whether or not Google is “manipulating its search results to stifle competition.” (from MSNBC).  PricewaterhouseCoopers reports on similar state-based inquiries into Google’s practices happening in Europe.  (Irony of using Google to find this article is well noted).

Seems as though anti-trust suits are unavoidable growing pains in the life of tech giants.  IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Intel . . . they may not stand by you, Google, but they know what you’re going through.
