Should employees have access to Web at work?

Probably an easy one for those of us in communications – we need free reign over the web for all manner of research and (social) networking, and so forth. So, duh, right? Does your workplace put any limits on your web use? How much time do you spend doing not-so-work-related things online during office hours? Or work-life all so hopelessly conflated that it doesn’t matter when and where you check OldNavy.com for sales, move some funds to the chequing account, or update your status on Facebook?
